School Bus shuttle service
200 children use shuttle service to commute between home and school. This service ensures safe and timely school journey every day for the school going students of Keezhavanjore, Melevanjore, and Vadakuvanjore.
Evening study Centers
School children are being helped to revise their lessons after school hours through evening study centres.KPPL has been sponsoring study centers at Keezhvanjore, Melevanjore, Vadakuvanmjore and Mudalaimedu. These centers are running successfully throughout the year. 148 students were given special coaching with well trained teaching staff (8).
School Children Education support
Supporting more than 500 school children’s education annually through providing note books, school bags, lunch boxes, stationeries, uniforms, etc
Summer Camp
Summer camps for school going children was organised by Karaikal Port. Children from Vanjore viallges and from Nagore Pattinacherry participated actively to learn new skills. The programme provided an opportunity for children of neighbourhood villages to spend their summer vacation productively by learning extracurricular activities and participating in personality development programmes in a fun filled environment.
Supporting Thiruvallur Tamil School in their pursuit of educating slum children
KPPL has been supporting Tiruvallur Tamil High School at Karaikal which was primarily established to educate the poor slum children. The school has around 250 children drawn from economically poor background.
After school hours, every day the school conducts evening tuition for around 120 students of 6th std – 10th.
Orphanage home support providing Nutritious food
KPPL supported the children with nutritious supplementary food during the study hours to motivate and retain their energy level.
Infrastructure Support to Schools/Colleges
RO Plant Installed at Government Polytechnic
Reverse Osmosis plant was installed at Government Polytechnic, Karaikal to provide safe drinking water facility to the students.
Bridging Digital Divide
KPPL has donated computers to the government schools of Karaikal. The objective was to empower the less privileged government school students with access to computer education.
KPPL donated Desktops to Thiruvalluvar Higher secondary school, Ambagarathur, Karaikal.
Erected a shed as protective cover with kitchen for ICDS Centre at Patinacherry, Karaikal
The front shed constructed help protect the Balwadi children from rain and heat.

Karaikal Port has sponsored the guide for slow learner’s in12th standard as part of education development in Nagapatinam – district in association with education department. More than sixteen thousand students have been benefitted
Career Guidance Programme
Career Guidance Programme to the Students of Higher Secondary schools of Karaikal and Nagapattinam were organized in association with MSSRF, District Employment office & Education Department which benefitted more than 350 students each during these years.
