Karaikal Port berthed her first ever capsize vessel MV Berge Mcclintock, to discharge 77,381 Mts of Steam Coal for M/s. Adani Enterprises Limited, with Ports’s fully mechanized system.

Panamax Vessel carrying 70,000 MT of Blast Furnace (BF) Slag cargo, berthed for first time at Karaikal Port.

Karaikal Port achieved the best average discharge rate per day of 27000 tonnes of fertilizer cargo. The fertilizer (Muriate of Potash) was imported by Indian Potash Limited (IPL) through Supramax vessel with a shipment size of 40,000 tonnes.
